Power Hacksaw
The main problem with constructing a DIY power metal saw
involves the correct slow speed drive to the crank. Washing machines use
an electronic control to do this task. This saw also uses the drum bearing
and a cycle pedal to provide a reliable machine. The 1000watt AC motor
has ample power and constant speed when controlled by the TDA1085C.

This shows my saw in all its splendour and you can build
one very cheaply as I did. I use it making my support
chair.
